Thank you to all who attended our 2010 Winter Partner-Scholar Event.

During the event Marathon introduced three new Scholars: Maisy, Maria and Stephany.  All three girls attend Harvey Scott Elementary School.  Maisy was matched with Sherrill Corbett, Maria with Steve and Candace Primack, and Stephany with Tricia Hecht-Glad and David Glad. Welcome to Marathon's program!

Marathon also intorduced a new Partner-Scholar match between Ellyn Bye and Scholar Christina.  Christina is Ellyn's second Scholar and Christina has been a Marathon Scholar since 2004.

The event program also included speeches from three of our four graduating Scholars, Jamie, Ruth, and Anna.  It was exciting to hear about their plans for fall 2010.  All three girls have been accepted to schools and plan to attend college in the fall.  You can read their speeches on our Scholar Stories page.
