Board and Committee Members
Help grow our organization and the number of Scholars we reach. Our Board Members are passionate individuals committed to the success and growth of our program and strive to create a sustainable program in order to ensure more children in Oregon are given the opportunity to attain higher education.
Don’t have the time to be a board member? Help advance our vision for Marathon Educaiton Partners by participating in one of the following committees- fund development, finance, auction planning, and Scholar success, and Partner recruiting . Think Tank Volunteers
Every summer our Scholars visit local businesses to learn about possible career and education paths, observe strong community leaders in action, and discover their passions. Share your career with our Scholars by participating in our summer Scholar Think Tank. Contact (503) 235-2500 for more information on becoming involved with the Scholar Think Tank.
Events
Meet and mingle with Marathon Partners, Scholars and community leaders at events to benefit Scholars and Marathon Education Partners’ programming. Examples of events throughout the year include: the annual dinner and auction, the Partner Scholar Picnic, and the Partner Scholar Winter Event. We need set up and tear down support, assistance with logistics, chaperones, and more.
