Marathon Education Partners will hold its 7th annual Dinner and Auction at the Crown Ballroom, Saturday November 6, 2010. Please join us, other individuals and community leaders dedicated to helping provide higher education opportunities to our high achieving Scholars. The enjoyable evening will include a silent and live auction, raffle games, dinner and entertainment. Proceeds from the auction fund the operation of our program, which matches high-achieving, low-income students (Scholars) with individuals and families (Partners) willing to support the Scholar’s goal of reaching college through donating $100 a month to a scholarship fund for the Scholar. The funds raised at this year’s auction will provide Marathon with the means to match more Scholars and Partners, develop programs to help build college awareness and preparedness among our Scholars and help fund events that create sustainable relationships between Scholars and Partners.
