Marathon Education Partners strives to provide encouragement, guidance, and a higher education scholarship opportunity to children with financial need. Our program matches individuals and families (Partners) who want to give back to their communities by sharing their experience and knowledge with children (Scholars) through the crucial stages of their educational development.

Since Marathon's founding on September 11, 2002 through March 2008, 104 Partners have joined together to help 66 children in the Portland, Vancouver and Pendleton schools reach their goal of obtaining higher education.
